Catching the Eye of Millennials with Product Packaging

krakenrumpackaging-199x300My colleague Brad Hanna, who writes about consumer product good trends for CPGtrends.com, recently highlighted what Millennials look for in food packaging design.

Brad wrote about a Buzzfeed post intended to showcase 2012’s best product design, but ” it reflects the shift in how brands must attract Millennial consumers. If packaging can garner such attention in a melting pot for the culturally hyper-relevant, how is it affecting purchasing decisions in the supermarket?”

Brad goes on to discuss Millennials’ “increasing scrutiny of packaging and the benefits of innovation.”
